How's it going? Hope your collab is Scratching away! This is a friendly reminder to submit your final draft by March 31. We can't wait to see what your group will share.
Hey! I'm a member of the Scratch team at Penn and wanted to let you know how awesome this is, Lightnin is right it really does look like a gas disco! The background and movements all coordinate well with the beat and lyrics. Just to be constructive, your sections seem a bit too long which makes the video a little repetitive. It would be really cool if you could play with some of the words (the part about ice cream could be really cool or have them actually driving real fast on the autobahn! )
Also, why not write some notes in the project notes section to explain your inspiration for this, and maybe who made the song?
I hope this feedback has been helpful. :) Please leave feedback on other collab camp projects here: (link to gallery)
One idea we had: What if the gas pumps, or other things in the background, could move to the beat? Kinda like the bulls nod their heads on this project: (link to project)
The color change effects are really nice in here - totally feels like a real disco gas station. How about adding a disco ball somewhere, to make it even more disco? (Maybe it could pop out at some point?)
Hi! I'm a member of the ScratchTeam (with another one looking over my shoulder) who is here to leave constructive feedback. *pants pants*... sorry, we have to catch our breath, because your project made us get up and dance!!
We're also interested in how collabs worked together. How did you meet your collaborators? How did you talk and work together on this project? Also, how did you find out about Collab Camp and why did you decide to participate? [everyone in your collab is welcome to answer these questions] Thanks!
ori12345: spear wheels did the sprites and i did the scripts. i didn't do last collab camp, so i really wanted to do this! spearwheels is my best friend on scratch so i asked him :). spearwheels dosn't know the collab pasword so, if you wan't to ask him something, follow this link: http://scratch.mit.edu/users/spearwheels
Added to the Collab Camp Project Gallery! Initial drafts are not due until March 10 so you should feel free to keep working on it! On March 10, we'll give everyone a round of feedback. You should also check out other projects in the gallery! It might inspire new ideas and I'm sure the creators would appreciate some feedback too. :) (link to gallery)

(view all replies)Also, I don't quite understand why one of the characters has 3 heads, but I still think it's awesome anyway.
