Love John. It would be great if the kis can continue and maybe get a score that is cumulative. Also it the kids could continue and get points for giving several answers.
Well, the "clicks" variable is strictly technical. You need to click just once in order for Logical John to display the next message. It's kind of tricky just clicking once, that's why i have the counter on top of the screen. Well, to tell you the truth i'm not targeting at any age group. i have students aged 17 that would have some difficulty with Logical John and students aged 12 that would have no problem playing this game and producing true propositions
An interesting project idea! What age student are you targeting? I'm not sure why the student needs to know how often the click event is being generated...
Are you supposed to be able to drag the "at most" and "at least" sprites to the blue box? If so, you need to "unlock" the sprites in Scratch so they can be dragged. Look for the little padlock symbol up by the sprite name in the center top pane.
Download this project!
Download the 14 sprites and 84 scripts of "Logical John" and open it in Scratch
Project Notes
Logical John is a mathematical logic game, that intends to acquaint children to basic quantity notions; specifically, to the concepts of the "at most" and "at least" quantifiers. What a player needs to do is form a sentence by choosing a quantifier ("at least" or "at most") and a number (of pencils). Right after creating the sentence, the player needs to place a sufficient number of pencils on Logical John's hands, so that the sentence created formerly is true. After doing that and clicking on Logical John, he will decide whether the number of pencils in his hands correspond to the sentence.
Any suggestions on making the code or the game more ellegant, sharper or faster are welcome!

Also remove the clicks just drag it out in Design or uncheck the variable
You are absolutely right, a player should be able to give several answers, i will try implementing that. Great idea, thanx DrSuper!
