I'm not too great at game programing, sorry. You'd be better off asking someone like Archmage or Dingdong; You could also look on the forums for programming help.

This is kind of embarassing, but, how do you make your guy move, and shoot a gun while making a game on scratch ?
i can help you there. you could drag out a When right key pressed from control, and under that put a Move 10 steps. do the same for the left, just change right key to left key and change 10 to -10. for the shooting, make a sprite for the bullet. let's say you want space to shoot. you could say When green flag clicked, go to sprite1 (sprite1 being the guy with the gun), and hide. then you could say, when space pressed, show, and repeat move 10 steps until touching edge, then go to sprite1.
