Project Notes
This could be the smartest and simplest car Ai I have personally ever seen. It uses strict sensors, one at a 0 degree angle 1 car length long, then two sensors at a 45 degree angle 3/4's long and 2 sensors at 90 degrees 1/2 of a car length long that are hidden. The sensors tell the car to change direction, when an obstruction will soon be coming its way. It verifies that the path is clear, and changes paths whenever needed. Also the car learns not to move while changing direction, because it may not be safe. Be sure to check out my extremely (Not really) compilcated scripting, and feel free to use this as your own! If you mean this game it is in the top right corner. It says "Download this project!". If you are talking about the program you can download it on the homepage, scratch.mit.edu. Its also in the top left area.

Oh yes I see. When the grpahics were converted to the websites size, the car just barely touches the green when resetting.

Yes, it could go pretty fast except for the fact that it could take 1 step and be fine, and then another and not. So, you have to make the speed equal to the pixel length of the sensors.

I have practiced, and found games that peeople enjoy playing, then recreate it as best as I can. I also think that a way of scoring is necessary, and the game should always have you on the edge of your chair.

hey newareagle, i have an idea thats perfect for you that would use ai. you have every body remix a project of a robot that has a certain ammount of stats (speed, health, weapon, reload, ect. ect.) and than you take them all and prgram them to fight. and the player can chose who they want to fight against at a menu screen. that would be sweet if you could make it. please reply.

Hmm lets see. You mean a person would draw there own robot and it shot ever x seconds and always moved x steps, and then whoever's vehicle won would make it to the next round?
