Known Bugs
- Drawing of large or high-velocity polygons is messed up (this can be fixed with a 480x360 costume, but slows down rendering a lot)
- When the square settles, it bounces slightly when facing directly up.

This is epic! I can't believe how smooth it runs. You have to make a game out of this. Maybe a platformer where you have to go across and change shapes to fit through doors and such? Still, this is great! :)

I must say your physics engine is superb! May I ask how you make the polygon settle; I can tell already that you must be using some kind of particle to rapidly draw the shape each frame.
Thanks! Basically I use modulo to determine the angle of the closest side to the ground relative to "up", then use that to calculate the applied x-velocity. You can download if you're curious about the exact algorithms.

This is a brilliant simulation project!!! It is probably one of the most interesting, too. I like how there is a gravity adjuster, movement in all 2D directions, size adjuster, direction guides, and a unique scrolling-type movement scheme. I would certainly like to see the scripts you used for this. What does restitution do, by the way? Since this is a brilliant project, I have added a love-it and a favorite. :D

Yeah. Sadly the length of the script increases dramatically if you add more than one platform (or you end up spanning multiple frames).

You could make an amazing game with this. It deserves way more love its than it has.
If you roll it fast enough, the shape gets distorted.
EPIC!!! this could definetally be used in a platformer! =D
If you want the shape to do something funny, press both the left and right arrow keys at the same time, and it will stand on one of its edges and never fall over unless you stop holding the arrow keys!

the laws of physics don't apply, a large circle moves slower and less efficient than a triangle?!?!?!?!?!
They all have the same mass and air resistance in this simulation, and the same amount of force is applied, so they move at the same speed.

sometimes when you move the side bar and the sides bar up the lines of the shape don't touch each other
This is so cool!There is only 1 glitch.If you go fast and press up at the same time than the shape messes up.Other than that this is one of the best things I have ever sean on scratch!
