Hi music_man, help yourself to whatever you want from Ricochet Mini-Golf; sharing is the name of the game! The hills (or ramps) are a fun feature that should be pretty easy to move to other golf games. The hardest part I had with them was making it so that the ball could stop and reverse direction without the script deciding that the ball was dead. I finally had to put a special global variable flag to disable the dead ball detection routine when the ball was on a ramp. Other features, such as bouncing off slanted walls, rely on using sprites for walls, which is a real pain when it comes time to build a new hole. I can pretty much guarantee that there will never be a build-your-own hole feature in Ricochet!
This is the best mini-golf game out there! Really nice job. I'm considering making a mini-golf that just uses a mouse-drag operation to launch the ball; the power being set by the drag speed and the direction by the drag direction (see my Icebounce game). I think this would make a really clean interface and would speed up game play. Do you have any problem if I decide to work it into a version of your game?

I am working on it right now. I have just found out how to do a scrolling background. I have finished the editor for it. If you have any ideas for it, now is the time to tell me. I am also waiting for Scratch V 1.2 to come out. When it is out, I will do some more work on it.
One problem with that idea Car_mann, The ball needs to roll up the hill then down. If it is not all the way up, it will roll back down. So the ball will need to go slow, then go faster as it rolls down. I have a plan to make this work. Your idea would make the hill a sand trap.
This is a really cool golf game. It is not that hard to learn how to play. All you have to do is read the help menu. This game took me about 2 weeks to make, So I hope you like it. My favorite thing in it is the editor. Read how to use it and you can make endless courses. Later I will make Mini Golf Gold. I will tell you the new things in it when it is done. Oh, and you can use the Sprites for your own golf games. You can ONLY use the scripts as guidelines if you need to. If you make a really cool golf game, tell me and it might go into the golf gallery.

At the end it says "you lost" but there is no winning or losing in golf you just get different score.

an idea could be to have a waterfall or an animal hiting the ball another direction so that you would have to time it just right!!! cool, right!!

to make slopes, just make the slope part dark green, and when u touch it, slow it down
