However there was a not very good change: The old texts are now gone, and if you open a Scratch 1.2.1 or earlier project using Scratch 1.3 or later and click it, it changes to a different and completely unfitting font that's why I still use Scratch 1.2 Beta because it has the old fonts :P

DANG IT every thing i view says 'Your browser needs Java to view projects.'! So annoying!!!!!
You need Java to view every project on the website. It has a like to a site were you can download it.

How did you get the variable menu as a sprite?
I took a picture of it using the computer. I can tell you a way you can do it in scratch or if you have an iMac I can tell you how to take photos of anything on your screen.
