you do a script that says
when arrow clicked
brodcast "CLICKED"
and for the background that you want to change, say
When I Recieve "CLICKED"
next background
hope it helps!
VERY nice!!! no way this cannot get featured!!! I know all the steps though :P I really like cleaning my scripts up too - Makes things ALOT easier to edit and debug!!
thanx. but try makin' a new 1 that explains how to make certain scripts. and how to make KILLER gamez. chk out the "MEGAtunez" gallery! Tell ur frendz about it.
Well, You did forget the part about becoming popular. In order to gain popularity for one of your projects, you either have to: A. already be very popular, or B. Spam your head off!!!! Sorry to everybody, but spamming is here to stay. How are people gonna know about your wonderful work if they can't find it somewhere easy to see? Also, sorry to a lot of people, but popularity is one of the most important things in scratch. What point is a great project if nobody sees it?
One thing about the cleaning up your scripts part. Sometimes, you do want lots of when the flag is clicked hats so things go at the same time (and speed up the script). This is especially true when making a key engine with jumps so that you can jump while moving.
No, that's not true. Every single project I make either is, or can, have one script per sprite. And plus, having it so you can move while jumping is possible using velocity, and besides, velocity is much much much much better than the other alternative in the first place, even if it were in multiple scripts. Also, if you want people to easily remix your project, you should clean up your scripts.
