Woah! I just went to the video section, and saw a kid making the Centre of the Earth scratch. I looked it up, and found you! I have to say thank you to you and all the people at MIT who make Scratch possible. I also have a couple questions. Do you know when and where the next Scratch day is going to be yet? I would like to come. And also, do you know if there is some place on the support page where I could find out how to make objects interact w/ each other? Thank you, jacroc
The next Scratch Day will be May 22 (see http://day.scratch.mit.edu). I hope you'll be able to participate in one of the Scratch Day events -- or maybe organize one yourself!
(view all replies)I was really looking forward to going to scratch day. Its not fair to those of us that live too far away from any of the events. I was hoping that next time, the scratch team could maybe set up some sort of webcam system, that would allow a user to have a face-to-face chat with people at mit during scatch day. If they could somehow do that, it would allow many many more people to paticipate. Sorry if I am being unclear. Do you understand what i'm saying? Thanks! :)
Thanks for your suggestion. We're planning to organize another Scratch Day next year, and we'll try to find ways to allow more people to participate.
