To create the animated mouths, I flip between two costumes. One costume is the full photogrph, with mouth closed. To create the other costume (with mouth open), I put the photo into the paint editor, grabbed a rectangle around the lower part of the mouth, and moved that rectangle down. I needed to fill in the open space in the mouth with something. Someone else probably could have done a better job filling in the mouth.
