creater of scracth! omg! like one projects added every minite! talk about big bisnis! wow! you also commented on girs waffle stack witch is my fav project! hehe! well amazing taking to u and... nice project here!
you where one of the people who created scratch! can you tell me any more?i know ericr, jay, sample projects team and mitch resnick (jay told me that one)
well the only problem with the scale thing is that it is set to go in a way that it will actually make the interesting fractal known as a Sierpinski Gasket. Any change will make a completely different shape
I don't think the new shapes are "completely different"; they're all related. As I see it, the Sierpinski Gasket is one member of a family of patterns. The Sierpinski Gasket is a special family member, but some of its siblings and cousins are pretty interesting too!
Download the 4 sprites and 2 scripts of "Chaos_Game_v2" and open it in Scratch
Project Notes
This is a modified version of Cyclone103's Chaos Game ((link to project)
In this version, you can:
* Drag the corners of the triangle (red, blue, and green)
* Control how far the pen moves on each step (with the SCALE slider)
Try adjusting the slider and moving the corners, click the Green Flag, and observe how the pattern changes.
On each step, the pen randomly chooses one of the three corners, moves a certain percentage of the way towards that corner, and draws a dot. The SCALE slider controls the percentage.
