The fourth in a short series of 8 projects which show you the interfaces for some of the FREEWARE and SHAREWARE programs that can be used to make sound effects, loops or music tracks for use with Scratch. Several of the programs only save files as midis - but these can easily be converted into wavefiles or mp3's using the program Midi2Wav. Other software is also available if you want to search for it on the web. A lot of the website addresses for software can be found in a forum thread about freeware and shareware. Others could be found easily by searching for them yourself. Type a or b to see and hear the two demos. You can silence a demo by typing 's' or by changing to the next example. Space re-starts.
