No Fun

ninjaTiki398 ninjaTiki398 1 year, 4 months ago

The freezing beam is so epic. You must have taken a while to make it. ^_^

ninjaTiki398 ninjaTiki398 1 year, 4 months ago

You should also explain that any heat added to a gas will make the particles even further apart.

supergarfield supergarfield 1 year, 4 months ago

you should make one about how plasma behaves

ninjaTiki398 ninjaTiki398 1 year, 4 months ago

But still, plasma isn't really needed, especially considering the age level of MOST scratchers, they don't really need to know what plasma is. And I do realize this was a school project, but still, he made this project for school, and most scratchers won't be old enough to understand plasma...he only made this project because he needed to for school.

ninjaTiki398 ninjaTiki398 1 year, 4 months ago

...this is grade 7 stuff, isn't this hard enough? For me, not so much. I've learned grade 7 things in grade 4...luiz...but still. Plasma is HARD man!

You better change your behavior, electrons!

good job, but i think the words need to move a little slower because i was racing to read it and somepeople cant read as fast as me

there's another state where molocules become a SUPERMOLOCULE(or atoms be SUPERATOMS)!

rantg rantg 1 year, 4 months ago

It's called plasma.

I learned more than in my science class! The movie part makes it more fun and exciting. And you put it in a simple way.

soccerkid31 soccerkid31 1 year, 4 months ago

sweet now i can use this for my science

tasj tasj 1 year, 4 months ago

sadly, I found this project boring. don't be upset it's just that it's all facts that I already know.

Jonathanpb Jonathanpb 1 year, 4 months ago

But not everyone knows these facts, and it's a nice animation anyway :)

odd... i've been learning about this too...

BulletproofEwok BulletproofEwok 1 year, 4 months ago

Funny.

estorken estorken 1 year, 4 months ago

cool, i just took this in science this year, so I already knew everything in this... you might want to mention that not many substances can sublime (adn it should go through the liquid phase on the way back to an ice cube) cool though

cool dude

Agentpieface Agentpieface 1 year, 4 months ago

Very good. People seem to have found good interest in this.

Wow, I take my hat off to you, this is awesome! I love how you put the information into a story! 10/10

joeylego joeylego 1 year, 4 months ago

Cool! I made a project a while back called 'What's the Matter?' kind of similar to this, but yours is WAYYYYYY better.

Cool man.

skeletonxf skeletonxf 1 year, 4 months ago

very good, but you only showed a solid, liquid and gas, there is also a sub state of gas called Plasma which I doupt you knew about. But this does feature a lot of imformation and I enjoyed it, you just forgot Plasma

estorken estorken 1 year, 4 months ago

plasma is electrified gas right?

(view all replies)
ZapperX ZapperX 1 year, 4 months ago

There's also bose einstein condensate... I'm not sure if water does that though...

Hi masterhand7 - I'm curating this project because it is a brilliant animation and is also very educational. Good work! :)

grysndnny grysndnny 1 year, 6 months ago

I learned some stuff. thank you

Warhunter Warhunter 2 years ago

nice! i remember learning this ages ago... i'm hoping to get into physics. 3 states are shown here. have you ever heard of plasma? it is superheated gas particles. i'm not quite sure of the theoretical information, but fire is an example. anyway, this was interesting, and entartaining. well done.

estorken estorken 1 year, 4 months ago

I believe plasma is electirfied gas, and fire is not plasma, it's just pure heat energy (well, and electromagnetic energy in the form of light)

(view all replies)
skeletonxf skeletonxf 1 year, 4 months ago

oops, I told masterhand7 he forgot that too.

Good project. This is what I was thinking of when I got this program. I like yours.

Kileymeister Kileymeister 2 years, 5 months ago

Good, but there is one thing I think is wrong; water, no matter what form it is in, is a substance. All substances have a specific density. It does not matter how much there is of a substance, or how spread out it is, or even if its a liquid or a solid or gas. The density is always the same.

estorken estorken 1 year, 4 months ago

density changes... density is mass/volume. mass is constant, but since the volume of a gas can change, so can it's density. I know be ause I learned it in school last marking period, in which I averaged 104 in science

(view all replies)
mrbrownell mrbrownell 2 years, 2 months ago

They have a specific density at a specific temperature. Water is most dense at 4C than at any other temp. That's why ice floats.

(view all replies)
Kileymeister Kileymeister 2 years, 5 months ago

I think you may be thinking of mass though.

Kileymeister Kileymeister 2 years, 5 months ago

At least, I'm pretty sure that's how it works. I might be wrong and you may be right, but I'm not sure.

chipguy chipguy 2 years, 7 months ago

wow! i really liked this!

masterhand7 masterhand7 2 years, 7 months ago

thanks. By the way your user image appears in cube world 2

DarthPickley DarthPickley 2 years, 7 months ago

a puddle doesn't turn into a cube unless it is in a cubic container... it should just be an icy blob or an icicle but whatever this is cool.

masterhand7 masterhand7 2 years, 7 months ago

thanx

Cool! And very entertaining!

masterhand7 masterhand7 2 years, 7 months ago

Thanks greenflash other people have been saying the same thing already. And it's in 3 galleries!! Not bad for a 1st project!

This is the greatest project I have seen in a while! I added it to my FMT's Picks gallery and +1 Love-It!

masterhand7 masterhand7 2 years, 7 months ago

thanx, chrischb also luvs it.

deatheater deatheater 2 years, 7 months ago

BTW good project, like Paddle2See said, could be slower, perhaps you could have the blocks, [say:whatever you need to say],[wait until:key space pressed],[wait until:not key space pressed], [say:next thng you need to say] :), and good project for a first project

masterhand7 masterhand7 2 years, 7 months ago

Thanks deatheater

Paddle2See Paddle2See* 2 years, 7 months ago

Great first project BTW!

masterhand7 masterhand7 2 years, 7 months ago

Thx.

Paddle2See Paddle2See* 2 years, 7 months ago

Very entertaining and informative! I had just a bit of difficulty keeping up with the text as it seemed to go by pretty fast for me. Maybe add a control to slow down or speed up the animation? That would be a bit of a challenge but it would be cool to see :)

masterhand7 masterhand7 2 years, 7 months ago

Maybe I'll release another version with the text slowed down. Thx for the suggestion.

masterhand7 masterhand7 2 years, 7 months ago

wonder if people are going to start remixing this...

masterhand7 masterhand7 2 years, 7 months ago

can't wait til tomorrow to see what people say about this project. It's already in chrischb's elite picks (YAY!)

deatheater deatheater 2 years, 7 months ago

What's funny is, the solid form of water (ice) takes up more room then the liquid form, where as other liquids solid forms, take up less room then other liquids liquid form

Chrischb Chrischb 2 years, 7 months ago

This is just AMAZING! It's the best animation I've seen for months, and it's educational as a bonus. It has good dialogue as well!

masterhand7 masterhand7 2 years, 7 months ago

Thanks,Chrischb!! And it's my FIRST project!
