Nice concept. You could get smoother pig motion by avoiding the use of the "When Key () Pressed" "Hats" and instead using the < keypressed > test inside a forever loop. A script like: Forever, RepeatUntil (not) <key (leftarrow) pressed>, Change x by -1; would work nicely. This avoids waiting for the keyboard to start "repeating". You can fiddle with the amount you change x by to adjust the speed (or add a short wait).
Yes, I have learned recently that some places use "Coke" as a generic term for soda. My error; not the practice here in Maine. To change a project, just upload it again. Make sure the name on the project is exactly the same and it should replace the one on the web.
Thanks Paddle2See for your comments and suggestions. I really appreciate it. Would find out how to change the uploaded project and correct Coke with Soda.
Unfortunately Coke guys are not paying. I had just used Coke as a generic word like Xerox.
Some thoughts for other projects: How to mentally calculate percentages (for tips and such), Credit card debt dangers, Doing your Income Tax (just joking!)
I like it! It shows the power of delayed gratification. Of course, it also shows that money falls from the sky...which it sort of does for kids, so that is okay. Maybe a follow-on project where you have to "work" for the money, like on many role-playing games. It would be nice if you got a short animation when you bought an item (a lot of work, yes). And finally, I don't think you should be endorsing Coke, unless they are paying you (and you should disclose that, if true)! Maybe you could change it to "Soda" or "Pop" or some other generic term. Don't get me wrong, these comments are suggestions for improvement only. It's a nice piece of work, keep it up!
Download the 21 sprites and 66 scripts of "Piggy Bank" and open it in Scratch
Project Notes
PiggyBank is a game for kids.
Anytime during the game you can either "Go Shopping" or "Go Saving". When you are Saving use the left and right arrow keys to move the piggybank. When the coin touches the center of piggy's top, it gets added to your saving.
Feel free to play. I also invite suggestions to improve and your valuable comments.
Happy Saving !!
ManuShri
PS - Parts of scripts for Coin Movement have been adapted from the Project "Catch the Coins" ( (link to project)

I think I have found an error, if I buy the crayons, I can't use them?
