Ghost needs your help to capture a rogue Halloween candy container that mysteriously sprouted legs, ran away, and made an amazing escape in rockets appearing in place of his feet! Ghost won't stand for such behavior: its HIS candy! Maneuver Ghost to avoid the rogue bits of horribly-named candy brand rip-offs as you pursue the captor of Ghost's candy. If you last long enough, you just may get back his supply of delicious delights. >:D
Instructions are in-game, use mouse.
My favorite part of this project is the Skmitters, which fling randomly-colored Skitters from the bag.
UPDATE: Added difficulty settings, so its not as hard to beat. :) Suggested by Combinebobnt.
UPDATE: Added Super Mega One hit KO mode, suggested by those who thought Intense was too easy. ;P
Added A system which allows you to skip the cutscene by pressing the button on the top-left. :) Suggested by acedannyk.

Yes! Finaly I did 1 hit KO mode!
Just before I won it it shot about 7 sweets at me that were almost impossible to dodge but I did it :-)

Hm. Maybe with the pumpkin's machine gun that goes 20 per second? And with 2 projectiles that aim at the player. >:D

The goal is to survive 100 seconds of the J o' L throwing candies at you. After the 100 seconds, Ghost will finally catch up and reclaim the candy, shown by a picture of Ghost smiling and holding up a different, smiling J o' L. There isn't any ending cutscene or anything, but I think it will be evident when you have won. :)
What don't you understand about it? The transforming J o' L container spontaniously grew legs, ran away, and set off to outer space with rockets. Ghost is reclaiming the candy which it stole from him. You use the mouse to dodge the candies while Ghost chases him. :) Hope that helps!
(view all replies)That is funny! Those shmickers block of my route(don't worry, that's what makes it cool)! The only thing that would make it nicer would to make it so we can click the green flag after wining it(the ghost just freezes up).

The candies are bad rip-offs from the Evil J o' L(the villan)'s own private stash. Sorry, replied to what? And yes, I do live in North America. :)

:) It may be laggy online, but for any laggy project, it is much less laggy off-line in presentation mode.

First, I played Normal mode and won. Then, I played one hit KO mode and my character refused to move. I thought I would immediately die, but all the candy passed behind my character and he took no damage! Glitch!
I was playing online, though, so I doubt that the glitch was the programmers fault.

Its short enough to not get too boring before you finish the game. xD Its less than 2 minutes in length!

Hm... Maybe. :o How would the pumpkin move more, though? Perhaps a scrolling backgroung would be best, because it would seem more as if he was at his full speed.

Yay I won! Funny game. He should be able to move forward, though.
Maybe he should... It adds to the difficulty of the game, though. And it seems too easy for him to glide straight to the J o' L.

Ma88hew! I think this project is so cool as to be the first project to feature "Achievements" in my new idea "Scratchbox 720". I hope it's okay if I remix this version with an achievement option. (It's hard to describe how this works at the minute but I shall upload the project soon) :)
Hm... An achievement function would be awesome. :o It could work... With the "Stop all" functions redirecting to the main menu... Etc... Sure! I look forward to seeing it! :D

(view all replies)Lol. Hard mode was the original version of the game that I made, but I redecided on a difficulty system that would allow more players to easily enjoy. Thanks for the complement! :) Some players seem to think that intense mode is too easy, based on their comments. :o So, I will probably have to make a super-duper intense pro 1 hit KO mode to satisfy them. xD D'em lollipops don't like you! >:D
