This is my very first scroller and gotta say it's pritty easy! it's just the abcs on 3 slides with the end on the 4th slide. thanks to archmage cause i looked at his scrolling done right on the web.

you can make it so there are only two sprites with infinite terrain. I used this in my snowboard mountain. I also used trig to change scrollx and y. I hope the project will help.
I love it. short amd sweet. make it so you can have a scroll direction and based upon that you change scrollx and y.(x = x + direction*cos(speed) y = y + direction*sin(speed))

well just about the same way but tweaked a bit, u can can also just have a stationary sprite where only the background moves (a lot of scratch do that)
