Looks really good so far! I couldn't get the MP3 player to play though, is it supposed to list the songs? To answer more of your questions, my name is based on a book title "Paddle To The Sea" that I really enjoyed as a child and reflected my love of kayaking. And it is true that I have learned some more advanced languages, mostly older ones like Fortran and Visual Basic, but I've also done a little in C, Java, Javascript and so on. They are all good for certain things but they are also more tedious to use. For quick results and ease of coding, its pretty hard to beat Scratch. Plus, there is this great community of sharing people on Scratch that is a lot of fun to work with. I have been frustrated a few times with Scratch, particularly when I know an easier technique that just can't be done in Scratch. But that's also part of the fun; seeing if you can find a way to do it anyway!
Scratch Windows Scratch Windows is a simple emulation of the popular OS Windows just click the start menu to bring up toolbar and well you know the rest this is just an early BEATA and i intend on adding a lot more on to it. Pleese note that in this version there are NO GAMES yet and that the mp3 player works (1 song so far)and that SFP means So Far Progress OH and press P to change background.
