Am I the only one who loves everything here but for the life of me I can't seem to play the song. The note I hit sounds right but it says I'm wrong. I even took both violin and piano when I was a kid. Didn't help apparently. Will have, once again, to download and either fix the program or figure out what I'm doing wrong! In any case, all your projects are real slick.
This is fantastic. I have never played but 20 years back I taugh (and learned basic note theory) to my daughter. I am going to learn to play with your gizmo. It is wonderful and the the details of the interface are exceptional. Bravo.
very cool (again)! one could easily hook up a quick physical interface with a scratch board so that people could get a taste of moving fingers around on a keyboards
Very nice. Maybe in another version. you could have the person put their fingers on certain keys like the a- row and sharps and flats could be the q- row! It would be like playing the piano.
Enjoy this game in which a sassy Ludwig helps music students learn notes by sound, by position on the musical staff, and by piano key position.
If you are a beginning student, start out with the staff labels and piano key labels turned on. Next try turning off the staff labels. Then try turning off the piano key labels. And finally for the ultimate challenge turn off the notation altogether and try guessing notes solely by their sound.
Now with speed mode! See how fast you can guess the correct note.

Nice, I like it. And I like Beethoven's like quirky sayings whenever you get something right or wrong in song mode :)
Trés beau projet. Very good job. I like ludwig's sense of humour.
Bravo !! I've tried to do a stuff like that for guitar but it's not so great !
I agree with aleboy10
This is the best piano project I have seen on scratch! Great Work!
This is neat. It makes me realize how much I do music by ear, rather than by reading the notations.
I don't play Half Life but a friend said I look like Gordon Freeman.
i have steam
Do you play half life2?

I am learning. Alas very slowly;=> Love your keyboard more and more.

It's okay, except for when it says "You go girl!" Because I'm a boy :D
This is really nicely done! I like the varying feedback answers - nice touch.
I like to do it without the eyes. Even when I mess up, it sounds like a nice song :)

I am pleased to report that this project was enormously successful helping my eight-year-old daughter learn to read music this afternoon.

Maybe she could try my Glockenspiel Hero game. That would give her fingers some practice. <a href='(link to project)">(link to project)'><img src='http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/PebblesRox/323597_med.png">http://scratch.mit.edu/static/projects/PebblesRox/323597_med.png' width='425' height='319' alt='Scratch Project'></a>
