NOTE: This game IS NOT based on Hoenn, this a temp title screen, and the choice of characters is out of the current 8 NINTENDO heroes, plus 2 extras.
NOTE: On the Story Mode overview, by starting the tournament from the beginning again, it only means the PBS Tournament (unlocked at Trainer Rank 15 {out of 25})


PLANNING:

In Story Mode a trainer can rank-up by winning battles. By winning a whole battle, the player gains TrExp (Trainer Experience)and BCreds (Battle Credits).
Most POKeMON are obtained by buying them for BCreds, although quite a few will need unlocking through ranking-up. TrExp can rank-up your trainer, unlocking new items, POKeMON, Battle Challenges* and Tournaments**.
POKeMON can learn new moves via purchasing, for BCreds, and replacing an old/empty slot.
A Trainer can only hold 6 POKeMON, and if you want a new one, you may have to release one.
POKeMON can only gain EXP, Level-Up, Learn Moves, Evolve and/or be bought in Story Mode.
In QuickMatch mode, it's all left to luck (similarly to Battle Factory in PkMn Emerald).


*Battle Challenges are preset trainers (others are generally random) and can be battled from the POKeGEAR [Story Mode Menu]. You receive, not only more than 2x the usual TrExp and BCreds, but also Tokens and Badges (useul for unlocking/reveiving rare POKeMON).


** Tournaments (of which are only 5 of) are unlocked by reaching high enough Trainer Ranks (4,8,15,20,24). They are similar to Battle Tower, a constant wave of Trainer after Trainer but with Heals in between matches. By completing them, you get Tokens, HUGE sums of TrExp and BCreds, Ribbons and a nifty chance to get a POKeMON.


-All POKeMON bought or obtained in Story Mode (regardless of whether released or not) are noted down in the POKeDEX, and by having them in it, special features become available!
