Download the 17 sprites and 21 scripts of "Ecco the dolphin gam…" and open it in Scratch Project Notes
.::Instructions::.
Up and down arrows to go up and down, right arrow to accelerate.
Ram a shark from underneath to get rid of it, if you get hit by a shark you will be eaten and lose a life.
Do not hit a boat or a log or the boat's net.
Your health and your air will steadily go down, avoid the logs and surface to refill your air and eat fish to regain some health.
.::Goal::.
Get far enough to reach the end of the game and attempt to free the other dolphin, I will not specify the exact details.

Watch your air, it can get sneakily low on you, do not vindictively ram sharks and please don't get angry if you get wedged between a net and a shark with no escape.

i hit a net and the dolphin stayed still losing lives no matter what i did!
The dolphin is too slow to go up and down.But stil I like the game.

I apologize for accusing you of bad grammar, sorry. Do you really believe that the scratch team would just give up on something they had worked so hard on? And anyway, nearly everyone who quits comes back again later as they just got bored. 1000 people quit in a day? I would see a lot more "i quit!!" projects if that were the case. Sorry for making you sad, I did not mean to upset you and for your reassurance I have no intention of quitting scratch.

Do not try to pretend that this is a serious issue, scratch is a website and can't die, the closest it could come would be if it had no users and for everyobe who quits 10 more sign up, have you seen the newest users section on the front page? New ones appear there everytime you login. You are free to fantasize but please refrain from spamming on other peoples projects.

Just another type of enemy, you can download and delete the sprite if you want to play without it.

Oh, you want to know how to destroy the net. Just bump into it and it will deacay.
(view all replies)You have to destroy it a bit at a time and then wait while the harpoon goes by. Go slowly, you're a bit squeezed so don't get going fast.

That is because it uses velocities and they take a while to reverse.

That wasn't exactly what I was thinking when I made it but it shows that too, also it shows how dolphins can get caught in nets hauled by careless boats looking for other prey.

Ah, I remember my first ecco game, could never get past the first level. Reminds me of this game lol but really this is a good game.
