Chrispy, you can add projects to your galleries yourself. There is no reason to ask others to do it for you. (This is different from the old system, where only project owners could put projects in galleries---now it is mainly the gallery owner's job.)
This flashlight project was inspired by Jens's.
It uses a single sprite with a white-to-black gradient behind a transparent image with black writing.
Where the white sprite is behind the writing, the writing can be read. Hiding the white sprite makes the writing disappear against the black background.
This version uses no variables or broadcast messages.
Click and hold to turn on the flashlight.
Use the mouse to wave the flashlight around.

Thanks for the comment, MSWarner. I'm not particularly fond of Mario games, so I won't be giving a "love it" to any of them.

This one's even better yet! It's Only logical to consequently get rid of variables and broadcasts if you're using just a single sprite.
