This project composes music on a C-major scale using a single sprite and is intended for inclusion in other projects. Space to start. S to stop. The "synchronize to beat" message is sent once per beat to be used for controlling dancers or other scripts. External controls are instrument number (what instrument to play) sustain duration (how long to hold notes) beat duration (how long the longest note lasts)

Very interesting. Even though you could just make a random note, it is very nice.
I don't mind having this one-sprite project in the scratchresources, as long as credit is properly given to me.

Wow! Had I the time I would try to make this compose music based on the golden section and more parts!
The sprite does nothing visual, just composes music. It is intended to be easily added to other projects. For example, check the Karplus name project at (link to project)
What is the ONE SPRITE??
very cool platform for someone else to build on. in the breakdance project (link to project) I originally hoped others would add more dancers that were synchronized by the broadcast of "boom" "tat" etc. I like the composition here.
Needs Scratch 1.1 to get polyphony from a single sprite.
