Download the 77 sprites and 225 scripts of "Sonic Advance" and open it in Scratch Project Notes
Move Sonic with the arrow keys, jump with space.
Works best in presentation mode.(note, if you don't open the file the sprites are distorted too much so the game start section becomes unbeatable.)
You must jump on the capsules with rings in them to get them.
This game saves your chao!! 20 is the max level for a chao stat. Press reset to get a new chao.
You can only have one animal with you at a time!
When the chaos race on the water that counts as their swim.

yeah, i saw your account jazone. i should have checked it out in more detail. also, my brother did make a project, but he only wanted to make a slide show w/ music, he doesn't like scratch that much, but i think he could make a great game if he tried.
(view all replies)do you have scratch 1.4? are you trying to open this project at home, becuase in school, some random projects don't open because i made this is 1.3.1, and they have 1.3. it does say can't be opened due to bad header whenever you try to open a project in a version less current than what it was made in. get version 1.3.1 or much better, 1.4 and you can open the file.

thanks! i am thinking about making a sonic advance 2, with dieing chao and chaos chao! also, i have costumes for run/ fly chao for basically all forms (like nuetral power/ run and such) , do you want me to try? (i know i can do it, i am only worried about lag...)

yes.. you must open up the file and put it in presentation mode to speed it up. if that still doesn't work enough, put scratch in turbo speed stepping.

such a great game , this. it really is. but i have made a sonic game too. check it out some people reckon it's the best sonic game on scratch! (link to project) it's called sonic - the blue hedgehog and it's not a remix.

i will create another sonic advance with chaos chao and character chao and more than one level as soon as i finish the big game i already started. i am halfway through and it may take a while because i have quite a few of the scripts are very big and i need to make them more efficient. also because i haven't finished all the levels yet.

space, jump is your attack. landing on a foe while spinning from your jump will kill the enemies and ring capsules.(however, the pufferfish enemy can only be killed when it isn't puffed up)

found a glitch. when youre about to fall go on the bottom of a platform and you will survive
i know, that is the only way to get to one of the bottom portions in the level.

when an enemy hit me i had rings and died. u die if u have 0 rings
i had trouble programing the rings to fly everywhere to be collected again so i just made you die. you can try to fix this though.

that's better than i have ever gotton a chao!
