Weirder and weirder! I can't shut it tup. I tried loading my music sequencer and using the 'kill sound' option but absolutely nothing will stop your project playing a repeating drum hit and two organ notes.
Weird effect on my machine after downloading. The music continues even after closing the project and opening a new one! It even continues after I've closed Scratch completely!!!
I just realized the web applet sounds are pretty bad. Sounds alot better when downloaded and run in Scratch on your own machine. Try 68 for a better sounding instrument. Instrument 54 also has a less distorted sound.
Don't hesitate to download and modify to your own liking. The instrumentation is fairly primitive, but this shows what can be done with minimal effort.
Click the green flag to start. Press the notes to play a melody. Cassie dances to the beat. You create the melody!
Simple instrument demonstration created for Ms. Mandel's class at Morikami elementary school in Delray Beach, Florida.
You create the melody by pressing any of the 10 colored notes along the bottom.
Use the slider to select a type of instrument for the melody line. Choices are from 1, grand piano to 128 which is a gunshot.
The bass line is a simple pattern of organ notes C,D ... C,A. The rythmn is another simple pattern.
Press the space bar for a surprise! Enjoy!
