yes, I see what you mean. It looks like the web version is not resetting x and y correctly, even if I click the green flag. Works properly when downloaded.
You can reset to a new block size by clicking random or set after the block size is changed. This causes x and y to be reset properly.
The tiles are represented by the numbers: 1 = upper left corner right triangle 2 = upper right corner right triangle 3 = lower left corner right triangle 4 = lower right corner right triangle
Instructions: --------------
Select the block width and height for the repeating pattern. Start with a simple 2 by 2 tile pattern.
Press the green "Random Sequence" button to randomly pick a new tiling sequence.
Press the green "Set Sequence" button to enter in a digit sequence number representing the tiling pattern as described above For a 4 by 4 block, you can specify up to 16 digits. A 3 by 3 block will be 9 digits. If the digits repeat the same tile will be repeated.
Press the green flag to start tiling.
Some interesting sequences to try : for a 2 by 2 block : 2413 1331 2442 for a 3 by 3 block : 312421243 321213132 214432123 for a 4 by 4 block : 3124421324311342
Note: the larger the block size, the larger the tesselation pattern will be.
Post your favorite tesselation sequences here.
The project is a remix of nevit's Tiling project on which it is based.

4 x 2, 13244321!
This works great in Turbo mode!
Try 4334212143342121 on 4x4... it looks like a bunch of M's.
431211234 awesome for a 3 by 3
maxXmax+1234432112344321 = awesome
4x2 with 34124321
2X1 with sequence of 12
thats not really a tesselation... its just squares...
You have advanced Trouchet tiling to a new dimension. Btw. there is a small bug for width 3 height 4. Should be easy to fix.
