If you had 1 minute to tell a friend the useful things on the Scratch website, what would you tell them?
I've created a gallery and a first project that highlights some useful things about the Scratch website. I would like members of the community to contribute a quick project that would help a new Scratch citizen get oriented. I decided to do a sort of screencast with audio and screenshots but feel free to come up with a creative way to teach others about how to navigate the world of Scratch and what to do when you're stuck.

omg how on earth did u make that fake profile page!! that is so cool!!!!
you mean in the other project? i'm taking a class helping out the scratch team think of possible new communication features. it's not too difficult, though you have to download the right images. i changed the html/css around. check out the forum for more details and if you want to add suggestions. thanks for the comment!

(view all replies)great! i like this idea. it is better to add some interaction, e.g., give the viewer chance to click on the different sections on screenshot to lead him/her to relevant content and instruction.
that's a good idea. if i make it again, i'll consider doing that. but feel free to take my project and remix it to add that feature :)

not officially, but i'm helping them out. i know some of the scratch team in person.
how do you make those pictures beside the name?
I think you mean the profile image. To change it log on to your account and go to the page with all of your projects on it. In the top left hand corner near your user name click change picture. Then click browse and select the picture you want to have. Hope that answers your question. =]
