Jay.. I made a progect for your speak up gallery. I really think doctors could use a little more apreciation. I would like you to add it to the gallery for me. here's a link (link to project)
I will make a gallery for toolkits once I get it clear in my mind how we define a toolkit. For instance...is a dress-up game a toolkit? It has separate dragable elements that you assemble to create a desired simulation or model. But do we want the 1000's of dress-up games? I would say no; so I need a better definition.
Hey, this is cool! You might be interested in my Clockwork Kit, it's sort of similar (link to project)
It works best when downloaded. How about a gallery of kits? There's a circuit logic kit out there I've been keeping my eye on, it seems to be making progress. Haven't seen too many other kits but maybe more are coming with the 1.2 draggable sprites!
Interesting. I understood it better after taking a quick look at your thesis proposal. I also liked the Drawdio demo; That would also make an interesting Scratch project.
this is an alpha version of a virtual demo of my thesis project. i will build this in physical hardware next month. You can read more about it here http://media.mit.edu/~silver/thesis/proposal_jay.pdf
INSTRUCTIONS Drag out and connect inputs (W, S, H, L) to outputs (colored light, music). This makes a sensor that can sense sound, human motion, light or wind, and convert it to light or sound. Then bring one of the signals (human, sound, wind) close to the sensors by dragging it nearby with the mouse.
PARTS Inputs (sensors) - wind - sound - human motion - light Ouputs - colored light - sound
FUTURE DIRECTIONS What other toolkits could be built in Scratch?

I think we should start a gallery for toolkits. It's now easy to drag things.
