i know this was added long ago. but im wondering if you could help me fix the problem im having with my scratch game whenever a ball touches the side of the paddle..it sticks inside the paddle. and you have a 50/50 chance of it failing right there..and then you lose the game ect yet your game seems to have fixed that i would really love it if you could help me thanks

make a pause key. see one of my projects like the 3d drawing one where there is a forever statement. replace that forever with a repeat until for your game. second put all of the script in another repeat until statement and say repeat until key p pressed. the say wait until not key p pressed then say wait until key p pressed then say wait until not key p pressed. that means u will have to press p to pause and p to un pause.

This game is the coolest pong game i have seen in my entire life. The graphics are smooth, the sound is nice, super awesome game. 10 out of 10!

To Marten: It is probebly because the speed of the ball is usung up most of your computer's memory, so the mouse freezes for a few seconds.
My speed was 28.6 and and the ball was very fast!Is it my computer or does the mouse get stuck on the screen!
TO MICK: In pong 1.0, 2.0, and 2.1 that wasn't there, but many people were complaining that the ball was to fast, so the "GET READY" gives them a small time to "get ready".
When you loose the ball shouldn't say "Get ready!". It doesn't realy mater but it's just an idea.
To Cholo71796: - Did you actually play the GAME or did you just judge from the thumbnail? Scratch thumbnails seem to be lower quality than the actual game (No offense to the people who created Scratch).
My score on first try was 20.5 speed 124 score.
My maximum score was at 101 and the speed was 17.6!
My max score was 97 at a speed of 17.1. I love the sounds. I agree with tammy, this game is super professional! I would like to suggest having different levels. Maybe every time you reach a speed 5 points higher then you change the background?
So pretty! It looks professional! I like the music when the paddle hits the ball.. it's very soothing
