I enjoyed the game. It is fun to play and their is very few glitches. But having the tanks move and having a more complex terrain would definatley improve the game and make it more intruiging.

I like the changing wind, stops you from being able to make the same shot twice, something that Scorched Earth should include. I hope your working on a Scratch AI tank.
When I do the next version, I'll look into your suggestions. I designed this after the original BOMB game on MS-DOS that I remember from my college days. Some weapons like MIRV should be relatively easy, others like the dirt bombs will be impossible.
It's great the way it starts up right after the first battle but it would be worth it if you could make a cpu or a menu for 1 or two player I can tell this could become a really good project
Thanks! I'd like to update the terrain generator so that it does curves. I'd also like to have an options screen for things like enabling wind and setting terrain generation variables.

Project Notes
The two tanks take turns shooting at each other. Use the left and right arrow keys to aim the turret. Use the up and down arrow keys to increase and decrease firing power. The space bar fires a shell from the active tank. The damage for the tanks is displayed below; once a tank gets 100 damage it is killed and a new round begins.
Beware the wind! Its strength and direction are shown at the bottom, and it has a pronounced effect on the trajectory of the shell.

if the bomb goes out of the screen you have to press space to make it blow up
That's one of the few glitches in this game. I'm still trying to figure out why it happens. If you figure it out, let me know.

Thanks for the comment. Designing a CPU player is a major project but I'd like to do an upgrade sometime soon. I'll keep your suggestion in mind.

This is a fun game. It would be nice to have a power indicator for the shell. But It's still a great game.
