Thanks! I agree with Paddle2See: if it were a scrolling game it would be easier to navigate. I think I'm going to give it a shot soon. I'd like to adapt my generic map-based system to a scrolling one.
Yeah, the comment block was released on the Beta version of 1.2 but didn't make it into production (it was thought to be too confusing for begining users). This is a very smooth-running and challenging maze! Very nice!
Thanks for the feedback! I've fixed the wall. Hopefully there aren't any more bugs. About the comments... It's funny, but I've forgotten how I added them myself. Maybe they removed that feature?
(Take a look at the new scrolling version <a href="(link to project);!)
I finally made my proof-of-concept game "Adventure Game" into a real game!
You control a robot named "O" using the arrow keys. The object is to find the gold star and put it in the star-shaped hole (which you see next to you when you start). You'll need to pick up keys which open specific doors that unlock parts of the maze. Remember that you can only carry one key at a time.
I have some things I'd still like to do:
1. Add music and sound effects 2. Enhance the end of the game with animation 3. Make the game less linear and more challenging
You'll see, if you look at the code, that you could easily change the backgrounds and make your own map-based game. I used nine backgrounds (a 3x3 grid), but you can use as many as you like as long as you set up the variables properly in the Stage scripts.

Thanks for the feedback! I'll add it to the gallery. I have thought about a scrolling version. I love your sailing games and the way they work.

You also might want to add it to some galleries (there is one dedicated to mazes for instance) so more people will see it.

It might be fun to see a scrolling version of this...I think it would be significantly easier as it would be easier to see the path choices.
