I'd bet that you could be the first to enter the contest with something cool in 10 minutes or less. (link to project)
The project notes there would be very easy for you to grasp.
Good examples of different sizes.
I think the problem with the Flash player is that it is drawing the dots too small and some of the background color is showing through. Here's a version of your project I made where I set the pen size to 2 so that they would overlap a bit and reduce the problem. (link to project) It's a crude workaround but maybe you will find it useful. I have reported the bug on the forum thread.
It looks pretty beautiful. I love it. Little points sharps the contours, but the colors melt each other and lose visibility. Very good remix, as much nice as the original from MathJP.
A very cool project! I see what you mean about the pen colors though - much duller. I'm not sure what is causing that...but I'll see if I can find an answer!
Download the 5 sprites and 6 scripts of "Six carpets" and open it in Scratch
Project Notes
A big thanks to mathjp!
This project is based on mathjp's Mosaic_Creator_1 (link to project) But it was a little programming experience to obtain models like carpets with different sizes, according to the design that I though and and being able to choose the initial color.

I ajusted the sliders on-line, after "space". Maybe I'll do a remix for the gallery in a few days (at the moment I don't have time):)

Thanks, mathjp!

I have the same problem.Probably a correct solution 's to create sprite 2x2 for example. Example with sprite 10x10 (link to project)
Thank you very much. I had pen2 in inicial sprite but I forgot to put it in the other sprites. I'm going to republish the amendment.
Nice job!
Thank you, spyker
Really cool!
Thanks, dapontes.
