hey can you finish my new beyblade thing? can you make it mesh? if you can i think i am your friend so you have my permission to do anything to it, thanks again!
Download the 23 sprites and 51 scripts of "Mesh Paint" and open it in Scratch
Project Notes
I'm a little late to jump on the mesh bandwagon, but oh well.
This project allows 2 people on different computers to communicate by drawing things on the screen. Kind of like Pictochat on the Nintendo DS.
If you're wondering what mesh is, look at this topic: (link to forums) Basically, it's a hidden feature in Scratch 1.4 that allows 2 or more computers on the same network to interact with the same project! Click that link for more details.
This project is like a live paint program. Whatever you draw on the board shows up on the other person's screen, and vice versa. You can draw with 9 colors (+ eraser), and 5 pen sizes.
To clear the board, both people have to approve it. When you click the "Clear" button, it'll send a notice to the other person asking if they want the board to be cleared. If they say yes, it'll wipe everything clean.
Naturally, because of the lag in mesh, when you draw something it might look just slightly more jagged for the other person. It's usually not noticeable, but if everything needs to be pixel-perfect for some reason, draw it slowly and it'll work.

Sure, I'll take a look at it.
this is brilliant!
this is amazing a bit slow (square edges)
Yeah, I noted that in the project notes. It might have to do with your connection speed, too.
Wow! Cool :). I tested it out myself, and it works very smoothly. I myself made a mesh paint too: (link to project)
Thanks. Nice project, too!
