Look at my Bolt-Action Rifle Simulator! It's similar, but gives you the task of reloading the bolt manually. Feel free to use it!
Fix it up. Make it randomly hit a point on the target. Then make another sprite go into the place that it hit, BUT make that sprite look like a bullet shot. Tell that sprite to stamp itself, then hide so it can be shot again.
