I love the rustic interface...very charming! It would be nice if it had an option for the "old-fashioned" English units though. I also think that the BMI is not terribly accurate as a health indicator for large and tall guys like me :)
Thanks for the comment, Paddle2See. I made this for myself because I am slightly overweight. I should play more sports instead of sitting in front of the computer and making Scratch projects. ;)
I am sorry. I live in Austria and did not consider the different units. 1 kg = 2,20 pounds, 1 cm = 0,39 inches. In Austria I am 170 cm tall, in America I am about 66 inches tall. Seems to be very complicated.
But there's a study that people who are overweight have a lower risk of death than the others:

Download the 19 sprites and 56 scripts of "BMI" and open it in Scratch

(view all replies)Yes, I know: I must eat less and walk more because BMI=30 is in the limit. It’s a nice way to remember me about that.

(view all replies)I really like the interface. You may want to state the units somewhere(cm/inch, lbs,Kg) :)
Thank you for the nice comment, chalkmarrow. You are right, the missing units are not good. I fixed it.
Great Project
