this is really cool! i loves it. oh and i found a bug: when you select multiple folders and nest them in a folder, and then go into the folder you nested them in, and then move a single folder, the folders you selected still move with it. does that make sense?
really great! no, AMAZING! i really like it, but maybe for the next update you could maybe change the colour of folders, and putting icons. eg: the videos folder could have a film strip on it as an icon. anyway, great project!!!!!!! --LS97--
i put all the folder form the root into one folder and did that over and over again but now i couldonly put 3 into a folder instead of all 5 then when i added the three i went in that folder and all 3 were stuck together like they were all one sprite
OMG THIS IS LIKE THE BEST GAME EVER. I don't understand the title. If this is a mutiny, it would happen on one ship not two. You should call it battle of the seven seas or something
could you make it so it displayes the folders name is some fashion? like when you mose is over it it shows a dilogue on the top? could you make it so you cna change the folder names?
You can hold down H and move the mouse near a folder to see its name. Until Scratch supports some sort of input box, I can't add a custom naming feature...
pretty good. The graphics look cool to. mybe you should make a gallery for remixes of this where ppl add their own files (pictures animation...etc) exellent project!
this is wicked cool can i use this i am trying to make a real windows xp system and i want to use this and be able to save documents in it is that alright
go ahead! I would recommend starting with this and building your project around it since I can't guarantee that importing it into an exsisting project will work.
A heirarchial (did I spell that right?) folder system, where all the folders can be nested inside each other. Here's how it works: Drag a selection (you can't click on it) over one or more folders to select them. Then you can drag the selection to another folder. Double-click a folder to enter it. To leave a folder (to its parent), click the arrow in the lower left-hand corner. You can also drag a selection of folders to the arrow to send them up one level. I've wanted to do this for a long time, and with lists it's finally possible! Have fun! UPDATE: 20 folders was a bit much, so I removed ten and fixed a few glitches.

Just plain AWESOME!! This is great!
I can't open the folders...
Or try double clicking
Hmh, try downloading it. The newer versions of the Scratch player seem to mess up older projects.
NOT SPAMMING THIS THE TRUTH, SOHK STOLE MINIATURE EARTH FROM SHIKAMURU 19!
To be honest, I really couldn't care less.
gahh ahh ma saa YOU KILLED MEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!
they are empty
I couldn't get the files to go inside the other files, or even open the files.
then u need to download it.
you have to make a rectangle around the file you want to go into another file, and you have to double click i think to open a file.
(view all replies)I love the design, but you should make files to be realistic.
ohh so cool!
Yowza!
brill
by the way, love it and favourite!

good!
good project and i love your all projects
This is AWESOME!
cool project
AMAZING. it should be even better if you could add some icons for the mouse or something like this.

Holy cow, now this is cool. Man you put some work into this. I like how you organized it and named the variables, so clean.
Nice user interface. That would make a good basis for a scratch computer that had folders that were like this
Excellent! Such a nice user-interface, too
nice project by the way.
have you tryed my new game called mutiny. i think you'll like it. (link to project)

(view all replies)sweet and well made

How can you fix that? Although you can see all the indeces of a list in one string, it puts spaces between them :(
I don't think that's possible, since Scratch puts spaces in lists :(
(view all replies)...you could amke one yourself:) or should i make one?

Works great! Then I did a rm -R *.* and they all went away!
I see you found the secret unix terminal ;)
You did a what?
(view all replies)Cool! I like it! The files are cool! Hmm... I wonder how you made that...
This is actually amazing! One suggestion: Why does it have to be selected to go into the folder?
I'm not sure. I might change the way selection works once I add a snap to grid feature.
(view all replies)Hmmm, there seems to be a glitch where folders get stuck to the edge. I'd fix it, but that would require work and school starts in 23 minutes.
my school is closed for autum/fall this week. aint yours?
(view all replies)Wow. This works really well, and the interface is perfect. This could be the basis for a lot of projects.
glitch:if you click on a folder alot it adds folder name twice
WOW,files not big.I like the folder names.

(view all replies)wow, I agree with monstewn
