A lot of projects just give me a whole bunch of ideas. This project my inspire me to make a 1 sprite one script project like this. Maybe you could create variables with the pen?
Fullmoon, this is really incredible. I had never thought one could do a so perfectly smooth animation just using the pen... I would like to know more about which problems you faced when doing it (if any)
I mean that it's hard to write big expressions with blocks since you have to snap them into each other which is annoying when you have 20 or 30 reporter blocks making up a single expression. A traditional text language would have been faster.
Thanks! The biggest problem I encountered after thinking about the math for about six hours was trying to make it out of blocks! A text-based input option would have allowed me to make this about twice as fast :)
I might have it done later today, depending on a number of factors. It's just been sitting in my documents for three weeks now, but I'm trying to make it look better and compress it at the same time. :(
LOL that's on purpose, to make it harder. You have to shoot it twice :). I suppose it doesn't make sense, as I can't really give instructions with the pen tool and I'm not going to try!
AMAZING! GREAT!!!! MASTERPEICE!! MASTERFUL! AWSOME!!! it's the best i've seen for a long time in scratch! it's just an ingenious idea great job i love it!!!!!!!!!!
The world's first 1 sprite/1 script/1 costume game (On Scratch)! This is an engine for realtime rendering of 2D objects, like triangular spaceships and bullets. Download and check, the only costume is a 1x1 black rectangle that draws all this. If and when Scratch includes arrays (lists), I'll make a full Asteroids remake, but for now enjoy the awesome power of math! UPDATE: Try shooting the green square! Keep an eye on the ammo and time displays in the left hand corner!

Very Impressive!
while incredibly impressive, it could be way easier with more sprites.
This kicks ... compared to my entries for the one sprite one script contest

Hi Fullmoon. I was wondering could you do a flash intro for a Cube World website, and at the end it says 'Click Here', Thanks!
Yeah, a .wav will work. Thanks!
Oh, and send me the music I should use (scratchsupport@gmail.com)
(view all replies)Sure, mind if I play Cube World first? I haven't even beat the first one. How big should the flash be?
(view all replies)Its for me, I am getting Irish-Man to make a Cube World website, so could you send the intro to toak@gmx.com! Only if you are up for it, of course!
I'm sorry if I sound impatient, but whatever became of my icon?
How did I do it? With basic trig knowledge and infinex's trig tutorial (link to project) Glad you like the icon!
Done! It's halfbaked_fullmoon's icon. Let me know if you want me to change anything; it seems lacking somehow.

I went on vacation. Sorry.
By the way...I just love the graphical information display, complete with mini-map!
This is amazing! It's not only a miracle of programming prowess - it's also a very playable game!
Very cool! I'd imagine using stamp would work better but I love the effect pen gives! Well done!
are you done yet
I'm really sorry, I haven't completed ANY requests yet. It's on a very long list.
LOL I'm on vacation :P
(view all replies)this is THE 1-sprite, 1-script of all 1-sprite, 1 scripts=O
COOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I liked the collision on the edges.
TRICKY!!!
OMG 1 sprite 1 script use used the pen?
awesome.how long did it take you to make this?
lol same comment twice! It took me about four hours over two days.
Btw, after a while, teh square glitches, and turns red like the ammo bar.
LOL that's on purpose, to make it harder. You have to shoot it twice :). I suppose it doesn't make sense, as I can't really give instructions with the pen tool and I'm not going to try!
(view all replies)By the way, this just keeps gettin better!!!!! I loves it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And faves, and galleries, and download in a bit!
Hey, guess who decided to look up flash to gif? ME! lol its complicated! My newest project is a converted pre-loader (minus loader bar & button)

Very nicely done. Can't wait to see what you can do when Scratch 1.3 gets here.
nooooooooooooo... it lags a LOT and after about 3 seconds after you start it it locks up. for me. my java sucks.
Cannot wait for 1.3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pretty cool lol!
