nice, but can you build a functioning mac-like operating system.
Even if it is only one 180th as good, apple problably has more programmers and graphic designers than that.
Hm, I wonder what Chalkmarrow could do with this. Perhaps use his famous multi-page one sprite window? Maybe he could use all of those widgets he collected and group them together in the place of each "slide"...... This simulates the Cover flow very efficiently!
I was thinking of using this as a way to flip through my one-sprite windows. Maybe later. Concerning the widgets, I downloaded, tweaked, and compressed all of them for uploading, but I can't find a decent site to upload with. Any suggestions?
In a desperate attempt to prove that whatever Apple can do, I can do better, I've attempted to simulate the Cover Flow interface on iPod, iTunes, and OSX 10.5 (Without the flip effect, of course. I have a life, not a team of graphic designers awaiting my every command). Use the scrollbar to scroll through the icons, or use the left and right arrow keys. Click an icon to focus it. You can click on the round button in the upper right hand corner for some more options. Those are some one-sprite sliders. You can also start or stop a slideshow by clicking on the dots in the upper left hand side. Feel free to use this for your own slideshows or whatever else you want. I've expanded the scrolling interface to include vertical scrolling, too, if anyone's interested. Have fun!
UPDATE: Fixed the *********** sliders. Now I can go to bed.
