Hey fullmoon i found this new cause and effect programing langudge (it's kinda like scratch) and is so much more powerful (and it's posible to make your projects into standalone exacutables! here's the site: http://scirra.com/
Okay...it looks like you have odd numbered segments pointing to the mouse and even numbered segments with a fixed angle. That's pretty cool! It might also be interesting to come up with more complicated relationships between the segment angles and see what that yields.
This is fun! It's also funny because I was thinking of doing another linkage project too! But nothing concrete yet. FYI - power shovel was my project originally but JSO made some great improvements which I incorporated in to my version so it became a joint project.
I hope that nobody finds a use for this, but I was so inspired by Paddle2See's Power Shovel (or is it JSO's? Both projects seem to be based off of each other) that I decided to see how many arms you could add before things got out of hand. Use the arrow keys to move.

I'm thinking about experimenting with real joint modeling in Scratch that could produce realistic run cycles and whatnot. That would be fun!
