I like the travel with the Scratch cat. My mother said me that the little islands are "Les iles du Cap-Vert" and my mother has a Cesar Evoria'CD. Do you know this islands ?
Do not mention it. It happens with all of us, all the time.
I’m affraid your mom isn’t right about the name of the islands. Cabo Verde (green cape) is much more to South, near the African coast and a Portuguese colony until the end of the last century. Now it’s a free country that speaks Portuguese in a particular manner known as “crioulo”, the language that Cesaria Evora sings so well. These nine islands are Azores, exactly in that latitude in the middle of the ocean and Portugal and Europe begin there.
