Ah, yes, I've heard of Escher. A very creative artist indeed. His pictures were strange, yet amazing at the same time. Have you seen his picture where there is a hand drawing another hand? Then, you see that the second hand is drawing the first! Two hands drawing each other. It was marvelous.
Nice. Escher was truly amazing, this is a great tribute. He did a lot of work I admire, I think the most amazing was the "self-portrait" reflection on a "polished sphere". Your project left me wondering what he would have done with Scratch.
Paddle2See, I thank you for your kind comments. I admire MCE’s distortions, transformations, impossibilities and I already thought about the “falling up” water and the “climbing down” warriors, but I’ve had no adequated ideas yet.
MC Escher is one of my favorite artists. His tesselations are not the works I like best, however,(except for Metamorphis) but this is a lot of fun! I always liked his impossible buildings the best, maybe somebody could animate the perpetual motion water wheel.
Well, Scratch cannot take your whole time, at all. I like your projects, you are a good scratcher, but there is life beyond Scratch. You have to share your attention with family, friends, working, learning, amusement and so on. Don't reduce your self to one task person.
I think I do have trouble continuing my hobbies or ideas (in the case of Scratch), and that is obviously one of my poor qualities. Maybe I will continue - I do feel a bit guilty! But, I can always express my creativity in Scratch, and that is what I am doing almost all day anyhow.
Thank you, MITscratcher, for your kind words. I’m not an expert in this matter but I feel deligthed with the pieces of art that I know. I would like to have learn something more in my proper age. So I think you ough to continue with your art lessons either you become an artist or a simple art lover.
Very beautiful! I do to myself admire art, I have resumed my private art lessons every Saturday morning - Maybe I should continue. It's been at least half a year, What do you think?

THE IDEA
Maurits Cornelis Escher, a Dutch artist, studied the geometry of the painting and produced a lot of works about distortion, translaction, rotation and repetition. This program is inspired in his work.
