but it works still. and by the way, if someone lives on the North Pole (to demonstrate maximum displacement from the equator) the sun would not move straight, it would move in a circle.
The schematic “movement” of the Sun above the Arctic Circle is shown in the screen as an ellipse, when the Earth is blent, but if the Earth didn’t bow, the Sun would “move” in a straight line, wherever the observer would be on Earth. Think about a merry-go-round: if it were flat, we saw the public running straight, but if it has waves, we saw them waving.
I’m sorry about my English. Sometimes I use the Google but it isn’t much trustable, then I translate by my self, and I’m not trustable too. Perhaps I should say “blent” or something, to say the Earth bows to the Sun. Where did you find the glitches?
dictionary: I was kidding. I noticed you used a dictionary. I often did the same, but it fails as much as I do. speak Portuguese: I don't know a site with the sound of the words. I know a Scratch Portuguese Pole at http://kids.sapo.pt/scratch where I am at /users/ffred. I've made the project "Learning Portuguese" with some talked Portuguese words. I can teach you something about Portuguese Language. If you wish, contact me efe.fred@gmail.com ..//..
..//..family tree: This is a very complex program even to experienced programmers and asks for a good Database because it needs bidirectional connections. Of course it can be done in Scratch with limitations and your idea for making a gallery of limited family trees is very good. However, there is no capacity to open projects inside of a project, so, the connection between trees will be broken, soon. You could, also, draw a sprite with some part of the ..//..
..//..family and show others sprites depending on the X,Y of the mouse click on that sprite. I think I could make a prototype to demonstrate what I mean. Send me an e-mail adress to the e-mail I've written above. Besides, I need to trade some ideas with you about the suggestion you gave me under the name "Where in the World", because I'm working on it and I would like to make a partnership with you to complete the project.
