OMG, I just blew up Koblenz! Seriously, this is an excellent interactive demonstration of a nuclear reactor. I especially love the combination of educational and interactive/game-like components. You must be a professional instructor!
My first language is Portuguese and I should have go to your page watch your profile, before I’ve made such a translation that I didn´t understand. That’s funny any way.

INSTRUCTIONS
Read the first labels to learn something about the operation of a nuclear power plant. Then use the arrow keys to move up and down the bars of cadmium that control the speed of the chain reaction inside the reactor. Do not let the production of energy reaching too much in the red or in the blue because it can blow up or stop the reaction. Be aware that the reactor takes some time to react to changing speed. The game ends when you get 500 points or when you lose leaving the reactor stop or burst.
THIS IS A
very simplified simulation of the chain reaction operated in a nuclear power plant, where the fission of atoms releases huge amounts of energy (in megawatts) that, if poorly controlled can blow the reactor causing an ecological disaster. On the other hand, lower speeds can stop the reaction. Note that each hit atom emits two particles that will hit other atoms and all of them release a lot of energy when they are divided.

Cool
Good and education adn some game moment in that, think if all education could be that!
Very informative project. Excellent simulation. But I blowed up the reactor... SORRY for those who may harmed in the accident. :(
Thank you. I thing you have to write 50 times: “I’ll not blow up a nuclear plant any more”
(view all replies)Esta é uma simulação excelente!
Obrigado.
cool!
Very interesting game! I would like to repeat the game in the last page (without the introduction).
Thank you Dapontes. I’ve corrected it and now you can repeat the game without the introduction

Thanks Jens, for your kind words. Actually, I’m a retired Army officer.
