I thought 2 hens. if 1.5 can lay 1.5 in 1.5 days than 1 hen can lay one egg in one day.
Actually a hen needs 1.5 days to lay an egg.

Well, it’s possible only in statistics. If you ate an apple and I didn’t, we eat half an apple, each one, for statistical purposes.
