I'm not sure that I completely understood the game: it seems to me that burning the rope at the exact same spot it takes different times. Is this correct?
1. Each rope takes 60s to burn but, if you light it right in the middle in order it burns towards the two ends, the flame don't reach there at the same time because the sections of the rope don't burnt in the same time. If you light it at the two ends, (first solution) it will burn into 30s but the flames don't meet rigth in the middle of the rope.
2. With two ropes and 45s, you must light three ends and, at the exact moment the first rope is consumed (30s) you need to light the fourth end because the remaining will burn into 15s. This is the logic, but the Scratch don't works exactly the same way in several tries. I've introduced a tolerence in timming but it fails plenty of times.
it's backwards, accepted my time of 34 secs in first round, not my 18 secs in second round (btw, i found a good way to do it after first round, that is why times are so different
Thank you for the comment. The ropes aren’t regular to burn and the PC processing also varies very much. So I’ve given a good tolerance to the 30s of the first round and to the 45s of the second round. The aim isn’t to burn the ropes quickly but to burn them in about 45s.

At the beginning, we had to drag the cat to flame the ropes; but in some PCs it tooks a lot of time. Then, I made the red flags and I taught the cat to move to them. Even this way, some PCs did burn the ropes very quickly and others burnt them very slowly. So I´ve introduced a tolerance in order to accept several solutions near the real one.
ffred Thanks for finally sharing this. It is very cool and my favorite.

Project Notes
There are two flammable ropes in this game.
Each rope lasts about 60 seconds in burnning but the burnning speed isn't constant along the rope.
At first level, you have to burn one rope in about 30 seconds(+/-). At level two you have to burn two ropes in about 45 seconds(+/-).
To flame on any points of the ropes, click the ropes at those points to mark them and then click on the Kitty.
Please, wait for the marking flag before remove the mouse.
I would like to thank Dr Super and Dapontes for the great help and incitement they gave me in order to finish this project.

The right way;=>

It's a very nice "logic game". Thanks for sharing!
Thank you, my friend.

I win by dragging scratch cat.
How do you do this??? how is that not 30 seconds?

That is really good, but really hard!
