Very cool. :) I was trying to figure out how to go about doing an RPG when I happened to see your project. I hope it turns into an actual game! I like the way your battle system works. (I was mulling over some sort of Action style RPG.)
INTRODUCTION: This is a simple rpg demo. It is NOT finished. It demonstrates some basic building blocks of an RPG game, such as moving, fighting, etc.
CONTROL: Arrow keys to move.
UPDATES: v0.01(rpg2) Background--title page. Background--story. MajorSprite--Man(player controlled) System Block--Moving block. v0.02(rpg3) Map--village Map--house1 NPC--Battle Instructor System Block--Boundery detection block. System Block--Coordinate detection block. System Block--Talking block.
v0.03 System Block--Fighting Block
NOTES: You can only enter the house on the upper right corner. You can talk to the combat instructor only by walking upward to him. Sideways don't work. The fight with combat instructor is NOT FINISHED; it is currently endless. I'll add more stuff to it soon. If this program doesn't work, try to download and run it from your computer.
