Download the one sprite and one script of "Auto-Mosaic2" and open it in Scratch
Project Notes
This is an automatic mosaic generator. It's based on craftcomputing's project- I was wondering if it would be possible to make a version that builds a mosaic based on an image. The result is a bit like using the "pixel effect" block but with a fixed set of colors. The stamper sprite checks the background color to see if it's touching one of four colors, then switches to a square costume of that exact color and stamps it.

Here's a variation that does pointillism, but is not automatic: (link to project)
it isnt efficant but good ider
how do you get the "based on soandso's work" thing?
good question. It happens when download somebody else's project, change it, then upload it, but later the other person removes the original project.
(view all replies)good!
Eric, I remixed your remix! The photomosaic generator is now in 8-bit greyscale! Check it out. (link to project)
