I am a Christain, but I'm am not sure I believe the christian creation story 100%. After all, how do we know these things? People were not created yet.
God gave Moses (or whoever wrote Genesis, they say it was Moses) the story and he wrote Genesis (something like that)

It doesn't matter what other people's opinion is, it's what YOU believe in. If YOU think that the story of creation is true, it might be right or it might be wrong. If YOU believe in the Big Bang it might be true, it might be false.
But there is a difference in Blind Faith and Belief in something supported by evidence.

It does not matter what you think created the earth. I don't believein the story of Adam and Eve but I'm still a christian.

If your science teacher told you that the earth is only 10000 years old then he should be dismissed. Scientists across multiple fields of study - biology, physics, chemistry, astrophysics, geology, siesmology, palentology and many others all agree that the earth is around 4.5 BILLION years old.

your welcome.I have another thing to say to the non-christians. the earth is only about 7000 to 10000 years old. all the things that we have researched is accurate within 10000 years, but anything beyond 10000 years is inaccurate.
Also, christianity is not the only religion that says creation was only about 10,000 years ago.
Actually we do have one thing, the speed of light. Through calculations light travels extremely fast and can be used to prove some part of the age of the universe. You see Vega, a relitively close star, is 27 light years away, meaning the light we see is actually 26 years old. Now there are other stars that are millinons of light years away, this means what we are seeing is at millions of years old. So those stars had to be around for at least millions of years ago.

In the true story, Earth was formed about 3000 million years after the big bang, and when the earth cooled down, tiny plants were born in the bottom of the ocean, possibly from single- celled organisms. after a while, tiny animals appeared. they ate the plants, plants absorbed oxygen. then, some of the small animals started to eat other animals, and so the evolution chain contiuned.
I agree with that, but i believe that the evolution theory does not apply to humans.
King Dedede, Most people here are Cristian and you are out numbered. Here is something that draws the line:the Creation Story might not be true. Got could've decited the big bang or nay of those theries. It is a mystery to human kind.
