Actually, Anime is actually more detailed :3
You know, manga and anime are basically the same thing, except manga would be as in a comic book or the like, and yes like you said, more detailed as it does not need to be gone through frame-by-frame. Anime on the other hand is a T.V. show, movie, or the such. Therefore it isn't as-detailed.
