Download "how to program two p…"(8 sprites and 15 scripts) and open it in Scratch Project Notes
Press space to change the scripts. the fake p1 is the dude on the bottom that is not in the middle. fake p2 is the dude on the top that doesn't stay in the middle. Hope this helps if you have any questions please ask. Go to archmage's project scrolling done right, if you don't understand the scrolling.

That's a bit harder since it's y and x scrolling. plus mine uses exact positioning which is impossible in that.
