That was weird.
You should have an option where you leave your village for a moment to go and do something, only to come back and find everyone gone and the only trace be a fencepost with one word written on it: CROATOAN. (y'know, cause it's your screen name and there's that story in history with the island... and stuff...)
haha, i've been thinking about making a sequal for this, that idea actually sounds really good, lol. and that's why it's my screen name, that story really interests me.
